The Korea Times invites Korean and foreign university students to enter its 18th English Economic Essay Contest. The annual event, sponsored by Woori Bank, is to help students better understand the Korean economy and improve their English writing skills. Applicants should submit their essays in English in about 800 words and are required to write the essay in newspaper column style.

Topic 2: Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) has become a keyword in business management. What ESG practices can be adopted by financial companies such as banks?
