SUNY Korea CDC is pleased to announce a valuable mentoring opportunity for the 2022 TFY (Teach for Yeonsu) global mentoring program.
Hosted by Yeonsu-gu Youth Center, this global mentoring program will be provided for middle and high school students from June through August as part of its youth mentoring program.
Yeonsu-gu Youth Center is now seeking supportive mentors with experience in foreign education and proficiency in English. Through participating in this program, mentors will benefit from developing themselves and gaining experience mentoring mentees (youth) in building global competencies. Number of Participants: 10 or more
Eligibility:
University students who have experience in foreign education and proficiency in English
High school diploma from overseas
University undergraduates or graduate students from foreign universities (institutions overseas)
At least 3 years of overseas experience
English fluency: Equivalent level of TOEIC speaking - Level 6 or higher / Opic - Level IH or higher
Preferred Qualification:
Ability to deliver mentoring lectures in both English and Korean
Able to give a lecture at least twice a week
Flexible to participate in the career lecture (based on the overseas experience) schedule
Activities:
Delivering lectures on overseas experience, career paths, language, and culture to middle & high school students in Yeonsu-gu
