With over $1 million dollars in seed funding, Cardio is a Venture-capital startup with roots in Silicon Valley and South Korea. Cardio’s newest product,Metabike1.0,is a metaverse (i.e. roblox) integrated home fitness bike with built-in game controllers. Users can choose from over 50 world class games, simulations, and content on their Cardio HUB platform. In other words, Cardio is the Netflix of Exercise. Additionally, their treadmill product, theMetarun,is already being served in gyms across Korea with over 24,000 workout hours from Cardio users. Cardio's goal is simple: to make working out as fun as possible, transforming the old way of exercising to bridge real-world fitness with metaverse activity.
Cardio Healthwill be holding aCardioGameDay recruitment event in IGC Gallery on Monday, May 2ndas they are hiring talented individuals to join the Cardio Team. There will be achance to land an internship,which has the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance. We encourage all students to come and join for game day to try out Metaike, the brand new fitness bike with built-in game controllers.
