SUNY Korea CDC is excited to announce a special opportunity to participate in the K-SDGs mentoring program.Under the theme of SDGs set by the United Nations, IGC students will be mentors for middle and high school students in Ongjin, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon to conduct SDG's 5P (People, Prosperity, Planet, Peace, Partnership) based English learning. Two to three college students (mentors) and island village students (mentees) will form a team to conduct non-face-to-face SDGs-based English learning for each team (SDG's 2, 3, 4, 5).
This program is an excellent opportunity for students to conceptualize and teach sustainable development goals that pertain to SDGs to a younger audience. Upon completion of this program, students who have fully participated are given a Commendation award (National Assembly Member Award, Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Award) and an activity certificate.
We highly encourage students who are first-or second-year students to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
