As part of the Spring Festival being held on Friday, May 25th, there will be a fashion show in which anyone on campus can participate.
You don't have to be a fashion major. We are looking to see people from different departments of different schools, regardless of their ages and positions; students, faculty, and staff, all are welcomed to participate.

Retro Runway, Pick your 80’s Pop-sponsored by Fashion Design Department
Theme: Any 80’s Popular music
Design teams: 2-4 people (Open to ALL majors and schools)
Runway looks based on your 80’s pop
Dressing minimum of 4, maximum of 8 models
Garments may be crafted, upcycled, recycled, created from scratch using fabrics, old garments, new garments, alternative materials such as plastic bags or Tyvek, aluminum, and etc to make this a fun fashion runway event!
Find your own models, ask your friends/strangers/acquaintance whoever you feel will represent your collection best.
Application required by May 4th. Accepted team will be notified by May 7st. Selected team must attend planning meeting on Wednesday May 9, 1-2pm @ C building 7thfloor student lounge.
Application includes team name, selection of team leader, all team participants’ names, majors, and schools, 80s’ selected songs and artists
Collection concept and how many looks you will show in written descriptions or sketch format
Model names (models may also walk for other)
There will be a panel of judges.
Prizes($): First, Second, and third place prizes will be awarded at the end of the event.
