We are excited to announce a valuable internship opportunity at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is an intergovernmental organization founded to support and promote a model of economic growth known as "Green Growth", which targets key aspects of economic performance such as poverty reduction, job creation, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. GGGI works with countries around the world, building their capacity, and working collaboratively on green growth policies that can impact the lives of millions. GGGI is now looking for talented individuals to work in the Partnership Unit and Communication Unit. Please read below for complete information.
Organization: Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Information
Daily Stipend: Interns are not remunerated by the United Nations. However, the internship position will receive a small stipend from the City of Incheon.
Over 8 hours: 76,960 KRW (9,620 KRW / hour)
Position:Partnership Unit (1) / Communication Unit (1) Interns
Major Tasks:
1) Partnership Unit
Provide support to the development of readiness proposals and monitoring and reporting ongoing grants
Basic search to improve relevant proposal sections
Assistance in reviewing draft reports for the GCF
Improvement of systems for finance and risk management
Other administrative support
2) Communication and Knowledge Sharing Unit
Assist in building GGGI’s picture database by collecting, editing, and storing/archiving pictures and videos
Provide support in preparing for GGGI’s external weekly newsletter, support gathering content input from country, regional, and HQ offices, supporting with layout and distribution
Support the Communications Unit with communications work around GGGI’s upcoming events, conferences and workshops
Assist in preparing communications materials (i.e., brochures, reports, and publications)
Conduct media research relevant to GGGI programs
Eligibility:
Applicants be enrolled (or on leave) in a Bachelor's (final year), Master's or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months
Excellent Command of English
Korean citizenship required
Those who have prior experience in UN organization vocational experience program (within the same organization) may not apply
